What’s a challenge?
At iSochal, a challenge is any measurable and comparable sport-related challenge created and recorded through the iSochal app. For example, a basketball challenge might be scoring the highest number of baskets from the 3-point line, using 1 ball and involving 2 team members.
How do I take part in a challenge?
Search for a challenge that suits you. You can do this from Categories, Featured, Popular or For You. Read all the challenge specs and make sure that you understand the rules. When you are ready, simply press on Participate. If the challenge is payment based, you will be asked to pay a small fee before participating.
What’s the difference between Free and Paid challenges?
Free challenges are completely free. Just participate and no payment is required. Paid Challenges have a small participation fee, which must be paid before being able to participate. This is done by topping up your Wallet from the Payments section in your User Menu.
If I click on Participate, do I have to start recording straight away?
No, you do not. You may click on Participate at any time. You will be directed to the recording, but may always choose to record at a later time. Just make sure you do it before the challenge is over!
How many attempts do I get when recording my performances?
This depends on the challenge specs. You might have just one attempt or you might have more. After you’ve taken your attempts, you will have the chance of choosing which attempt you wish to submit to the challenge.
What’s a micro brand ambassador?
A micro brand ambassador is a person who helps a company promote their brand. In winning an iSochal challenge, we are in effect identifying you as a micro brand ambassador for the challenge sponsor. As micro brand ambassador, you will be asked to record a Winner’s Video that the challenge sponsor may use to promote their brand. More details are provided in the Basic User and Challenge Sponsor Terms and Conditions.
How soon will I get my prize?
The delivery of the prize is dependant on your delivery of the Winners Video. After having provided iSochal with your Winners Video, you will have fulfilled your obligation as Micro Brand Ambassador. Your prize will be on its way within 60 days.
The system gave me a wrong result. How do I correct it?
This can be done using the Dispute button. If you can clearly show that there is a disparity between the system’s results and the results you have calculated, you will be given the opportunity of correcting your result.
Who can create a challenge?
Any registered user can create a challenge. Basic users can create free challenges at any time and for free. Premium users can create prize-awarding challenges as part of their own marketing campaign, or in order to earn a commission from iSochal. Reporting an underage user
We require our users to be 16 and over or to have parent consent if younger than this age.
If your underage child has created an iSochal account without your consent, you can show them how to delete their account. You can do this from the settings in your child’s personal profile or contact us if you have any queries.
If you’d like to report an account belonging to someone underage, please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. In your email, please provide the following documentation and redact or hide any unrelated personal information:
- User name of the child
- Email address of the child’s user
- Proof of parental authority (e.g., copy of birth or adoption certificate for the underage child)
- Proof of child’s date of birth (e.g., copy of birth or adoption certificate for the underage child)
We’ll promptly disable the iSochal account if it’s reasonably verifiable that the account belongs to your underage child. You won’t receive confirmation of this action. Our ability to review and take appropriate action on a report significantly improves with the completeness of the information requested above.
If the reported child’s account isn’t reasonably verifiable as belonging to an underage user, then we may not be able to take action on the account. In this case, if you’re not the parent of this child, then we strongly recommend that you encourage a parent to contact us using the instructions above.
How do I close my account?
You can close your account at any time either through the app or through the website. Go to the settings in your Personal Profile and select Close my Account. Your account will no longer be visible nor active.
